Sam McLean manages Policy and Business Development for Tesla Motors, Australia. Prior to accepting this position Mr Mclean worked across a range of roles with GetUp including campaigning, fundraising and executive experience. Mr McLean originally started work at GetUp as a volunteer and, 8 years later, left as National Director.

In the years since, Mr McLean has been a parliamentary advisor and consulted for start-ups and NGO’s at home and abroad. 

Mr McLean is a founding director of the Centre for Australian Progress and of Control Shift Labs.
